Bogg built its name on a beach bag with an open top. Now it makes one with a zipper and a laptop pocket. Three more brands are on the move as well: a seasoning that took off on TikTok Shop, a hydration stick headed for Walmart and a self tanner with a new owner.
Bogg: a zip-top tote with a laptop pocket

Bogg launched the GO TOTE, which it calls its biggest product innovation in 15 years. It is a zip-top tote in three sizes, 6, 20 and 35 liters, at $90, $120 and $150, with a crossbody strap on every size, plus a laptop pocket and a pass-through that slides over a suitcase handle on the two larger ones. The base is the same tip-proof EVA bottom Bogg is known for. It is available now on boggbag.com. Bogg products are also sold at Amazon, Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy and Bloomingdale's.1
Founder and CEO Kim Vaccarella says customers want to carry Bogg in everyday life: "We've taken everything you love about Bogg bag and put it into a bag that you can travel with." Earlier canvas bags from Bogg didn't have the durability and ruggedness she wanted, so the team went back to customers through surveys and its Facebook page before trying again. Bogg says it has passed $400 million in lifetime sales.1,3
To launch it, Bogg sent 75 brand ambassadors carrying the tote through Grand Central, Bryant Park, Times Square and Penn Station, with 1,500 wheatpaste ads on the streets around them.1
Why it matters: Bogg changed the shape, the material and the closure, and kept the one thing customers would miss, the tip-proof base. When you stretch a brand into a new use, keep the part people would notice missing, and ask the customers who already carry it what they want next.
EZ Bombs: a $25M Series A, led by CAVU

EZ Bombs, the family-founded maker of shelf-stable seasoning Bombs, raised a $25 million Series A led by CAVU Consumer Partners. The company says it went from no retail doors at the start of 2025 to more than 8,000 today, including Walmart, Target, Costco, Kroger, Albertsons and Publix, after starting on TikTok Shop and Amazon. The money goes to wider distribution, more manufacturing capacity, new products and executive hires.4,5
Each Bomb packs the flavor base for one dish. The first was the Birria Bomb, and there are now separate Bombs for pozole, tinga, chicken chipotle and chile colorado. EZ Bombs says it was the number one food and beverage product on TikTok Shop in 2025, with more than 1 million units sold. CAVU principal Brandon Neumann: "Most seasonings are sold as ingredients while EZ Bombs starts with the meal." Axios Pro reports CAVU is betting that shoppers will want more flavor from smaller portions as GLP-1 use grows.4,5
Why it matters: EZ Bombs sells the dish, not the ingredient, and one short video of a Bomb dropping into a pot did the explaining. If your product needs a paragraph to explain, look for the version that takes three seconds on camera.
k2o: headed for about 2,000 Walmart stores

k2o, the hydration stick brand from Kylie Jenner, launched at Target in August and, according to Forbes, is set to arrive in about 2,000 Walmart stores with endcaps. It sits in the vitamin and pharmacy section at Target, and will at Walmart, near active nutrition and other hydration brands. CEO Jay Hunter: "The endcaps are performing well above Target's expectations." He says the brand has done about $12 million in sales across TikTok Shop, Amazon and its own site.6,7
Its first product, Advanced Skin Hydration Mix, combines electrolytes, hyaluronic acid and collagen peptides. k2o comes from the company behind Sprinter vodka seltzers, and Hunter says the plan is a new lane: "We're moving toward the beauty-from-within category."6,7
Why it matters: k2o picked its category by picking its aisle. Standing with vitamins and active nutrition tells the shopper what the product is for before they read the pack. Where you sit on the shelf is part of your positioning.
Saltyface: acquired by Gauge Capital

Gauge Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, acquired Saltyface, the Vancouver sunless tanning brand founded in 2020 by Bethany and David Menzel. Terms were not disclosed. It is Gauge's third sunless tanning brand in a little over three years, joining Coco & Eve and Loving Tan in its Soleil Collective. Saltyface is priced from $22 to $59 and sells on its own site, on Amazon and at Credo Beauty, Erewhon, Happier Grocery and Revolve.8
Co-founder David Menzel: "Gauge Capital brings the experience and resources to help us reach a wider audience and develop new products while staying true to what made Saltyface special in the first place." Brand advisor Lesley Holmes, founder of Beneath The Gloss, on what sets it apart: "There's a woman who shops at Sephora, spends money on her skincare and would happily pay more for a self-tanner that fits into that world."8
Why it matters: Gauge already owned two sunless brands, so Saltyface is one more piece of a category it knows. Saltyface describes its approach as "skincare that tans," in a category Holmes says is traditionally tied to dramatic results and tropical branding, and a buyer collecting a category goes looking for the brand that looks different from the rest.
