Three drinks are heading for a bigger shelf this week. One is a Shirley Temple in a can, about to land at Target. One is a ginger ale that borrowed a rock star's look and walked into hundreds of Whole Foods stores. One is the next brand from the couple who sold Poppi, built for everyday hydration instead of a workout. Each one gives founders a clear move to copy.
GORGIE: Shirley Splash at Target, starting November 8

GORGIE's Shirley Splash, a Shirley Temple-inspired sparkling energy drink, launches at Target on November 8. The can is sugar-free, with 150 mg of green tea caffeine plus B vitamins, biotin and L-theanine, and Target already lists the 12 fl oz can as new. The front of the can calls the flavor Shirley Splash; Target's product title still says Shirley Temple Holiday.1,2
It is another flavor built around a drink people already know, with the brand's usual "energy with benefits" framing, and it keeps the first try easy: one can, one familiar taste, on a shelf shoppers already visit.1,2
Why it matters: GORGIE did not invent a new flavor story. It put a classic mocktail into its existing system and rode it into Target. When a flavor people already recognize sits inside a format you already sell, retail buyers and shoppers both have less to figure out.
Owen's: MGK Ginger Ale in about 550 Whole Foods stores

Owen's Craft Mixers launched Owen's x MGK Ginger Ale in around 550 Whole Foods Market stores nationwide this fall, with artist and brand investor Colson Baker (MGK) on the can. The mule mascot gets an MGK-inspired look, and the drink is made to sip straight or use as a mixer. On November 2, Brewbound covered the brand's wider national retail push alongside Southern Glazer's and the MGK collab.3,4,5
Why it matters: Owen's used a partner shoppers already follow to make a mixer feel like a personality, then put that can where people already buy groceries. A collab that still works as a everyday mixer is easier to reorder than a limited drop that only exists for the photo.
Jetty: everyday hydration from the Poppi founders, November 9

Jetty, the new everyday hydration brand from Poppi founders Allison and Stephen Ellsworth, launches November 9 at major retailers including Whole Foods. Early label reads put a 450 ml bottle at 45 calories, 6 g of sugar, 3 g of fiber, B vitamins and 510 mg of electrolytes (310 mg potassium, 100 mg sodium, 100 mg magnesium), in Fruit Punch, Watermelon, Orange Mango and Black Raspberry. The line on the bottle: "Not for a marathon. Not for the gym. For real life, every day."6
Why it matters: Jetty named the buyer who is not training. Most hydration brands sell a workout. Jetty sells the other six days of the week, which is a bigger shelf and a clearer story than competing with sports drinks on their own turf.
