The lazy move for a 2 oz shot is to walk into the energy aisle and fight Red Bull for cooler space. Magic Mind didn’t take it. The page title calls the product “the world’s first mental performance shot,” and the hero needs four words to sell it: “Sharper mind. Sustained energy.” We scanned the homepage, the product page and the storefront code. The offer under that positioning is one of the cleanest I’ve seen. The stack behind it is strong too, with one hole I’d want filled before I called it a model.
A model offer on a strong stack, with one hole in it.
We detected 5 of the 7 core stack categories (Skio, Alia, Rebuy, Social Snowball, Superfiliate, Klaviyo, plus Intelligems for testing). Reviews run on Bazaarvoice, which sits outside the Shopify app set we score. The gap is attribution. We didn’t detect a tool for it, and until we do, I’m not calling this stack best-in-class. The marketing is another story: steal it. Its Storefront Evidence Score: 86.
1. It drew its own shelf
Instead of fighting energy drinks on their terms, Magic Mind draws a new shelf and then points at the old one. The homepage describes the life it wants to replace as “energy drink after energy drink, coffee after coffee, crash and then back up.” Anybody who has hit an afternoon wall reads that line and nods. Building a category around a feeling the buyer already has is about the cheapest way there is to build one.
2. One question does the selling
“How much caffeine do you have daily?” Everyone knows their answer without thinking, and the reply routes you to Free (0mg), Original (55mg), MAXX (165mg) or Sleep. That one question turns a product line into a personal recommendation. I’d bet most brands with three or four SKUs could find their version of it in an afternoon.
3. The offer is built for the second order
The PDP leads with pack sizes and does the per-bottle math out loud: “15 bottles 50% off $89.25 $44.63” and “$2.47 per bottle” on the 30-pack. The subscription line is about as clear as they come: “58% off your order, then 45% forever.” Then the risk reversal, in plain English: “Try Magic Mind for 100 days. If your mental performance doesn’t noticeably improve, we’ll refund your purchase completely. No return necessary.” Read those back to back and the usual first-order objections are handled before you scroll.
4. Star power on the page, no box score up top
Matthew Stafford (“2025 AP Most Valuable Player”), Justin Kan (“Founder, Twitch”), Dr. Dan Engle and a Scientific Advisory Board. That’s a roster most brands would kill for, and the survey stats (“82% experienced lower fatigue”) put numbers behind it. What’s missing up top is the count. The PDP shows 4.3 stars from 1,901 reviews once its Bazaarvoice widget loads, while the homepage hero carries testimonials only. Moving that count up top is the cheapest proof they could add.

What I’d steal
Start with the per-unit math. “$2.47 per bottle” makes a $74 order feel small, and it costs you one line of copy. Then find your caffeine question: the one variable your buyers already know about themselves, used to route them to the right product. And if you’re stuck fighting a giant category, do what Magic Mind did. Draw a narrower shelf you can own, then point at the old one.
Last, write your guarantee so it kills the final bit of friction. “No return necessary” is three words, and it’s exactly the kind of line that gets a skeptic to hit Add to Cart. Huge respect to this team. Most of what I’d change lives in the stack, and the part a shopper actually sees is already among the best on our board.
